PORTRAITS AT THE NPG

The National Portrait Gallery in London possesses three portrait sculptures by Martin Jennings.

The gallery owns a cast of his bronze bust of onetime Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath as well as a bronze mask of the author Philip Pullman.

Each of these was modelled from life with the sitter, as was a smaller than lifesize mask in sterling silver of Lord Chief Justice Tom Bingham, which was commissioned by the gallery. Bingham is represented as if in court, with his brow furrowed and his lips pursed, considering a judgement.
